Horley Town Council News Update: Horley War Memorial
Following the incident at the Memorial Gardens, Brighton Road Horley, on 11 July whereby the War Memorial was vandalised through suspected arson, the Town Council is very grateful for the prompt action and thoughtfulness of the residents who carried out an initial clean-up there. Our parks contractors have been informed and are arranging for it to be fully restored with professional equipment shortly. The Town Council therefore respectfully asks that no further cleaning is carried out by the public. The incident has also been reported to Surrey Police.
