REMINDER: Annual Horley in Bloom Competition
Horley in Bloom 2018 - Last Call for Entries
The Horley in Bloom competition is now in its 24th year and there is still time to enter, however, the closing date is Friday, 6th July 2018.
The different categories are as follows:
- Residential Front Garden
- Residential Back Garden
- Residential Flat
- Schools
- Community
- Hanging Basket / Planter
- Allotments (Judging Separate)
- Public Houses/Restaurants
- Commercial (includes guesthouses)
- Newcomer*
The Horley in Bloom Photographic Competition will be taking place for the sixth year and there are categories for both children and adults.
* Judges will make an award to the overall best newcomer. Please tick this box in addition to the categories entered, if applicable. Judges will also make an award for the garden which, in their opinion, represents the best example of a Cottage Garden. Judges will be keen to see evidence of gardens being watered with recycled water, as well as the composting of green waste. Additional marks may be awarded, where plants have been grown from seed / cuttings. (Judging criteria available upon request.) Judges’ comments available once results published.
Awards will be presented at our Awards Evening on Friday 28 September 2018 (details to follow).
