Skatepark Update
Construction on the new skatepark will start in early January. and we are expecting it will be completed by March, subject to the vagaries of the winter climate.
Following feedback on Facebook and later discussed with users, we have amended the design to put a flat bank into the quarterpipes instead of the mousehole. We’ve moved the grindrail so that it can be set further into the tarmac.
The heights of the quarterpipes with flatbank are 1.2m high (approx. 4ft). The quarters at the other end are 1.5m – 1.2m (approx. 4ft – 5ft) high."
