Raising the Commonwealth Flag
The flag of the Commonwealth of Nations was raised in the Memorial Gardens, Horley Recreation Park on Monday 9 March at 1000 am as part of the National Commonwealth Day celebrations. Town Mayor, Richard Olliver read a message from the Queen. We are grateful for the assistance of the staff at Horley Infants School who gave their permission for some children to help with the event.
