Christmas Lights switched on
The Christmas lights were turned on at the Christmas Fayre, on Saturday 29 November.
Organised by HATs (Horley Association of Traders) the day started at 10am and featured 35 stalls in the town centre precinct, including a Gingerbread Grotto for the children with a real reindeer at the Horley Young Peoples' Centre in Albert Road.
The winner of the school colouring-in competition, Darcy King switched on the lights and Cllr Richard Olliver, Chairman & Town Mayor of Horley Town Council and East Surrey's MP, Sam Gyimah in attendance.
The next event to be held in the Precinct will be the Horley Churches’ Annual Carol Service which will take place by the Christmas Tree at 11.00 am on Saturday 13 December. Refreshments will also be provided afterwards in the Albert Road Sports & Social Club. Everyone is very welcome to come along.
