Save The Children - Christmas Jumper Day: Sponsored Skydive
Cllr David Powell completed another Sky Dive for Save The Children ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ (as part of an upcoming charitable event on 12 December). His partner in this was Nigel Hague (father of William Hague MP), who did wing walking. The whole event was filmed for television etc. If anyone would like to make a donation, then please make a cheque payable to “Save the Children” , or bring along cash to the Town Council office for safekeeping. David and Nigel have also been booked for a ‘sofa seat’ with ITV’s Breakfast Show – they hope its Susanna Reid!
