Reigate and Banstead Subway Design Update

'We are pleased to advise you that the latest design information for Horley Subway is now live.

In addition to the refurbishment works shown to the public back in February, we want to design and install mural-style art in the subway. The use of mural artworks will transform the current space, bringing in an element of impact, colour and local storytelling, and contribute towards making Horley more welcoming and interesting for residents and visitors.

The artwork will provide a theme that could be applied, not just in the subway, but also around the town centre to link spaces and places. Three themes will go on public display asking residents and stakeholders to provide comments and feedback.

These themes are informed by what residents said about Horley in the engagement carried out last year by Thinking Place and are intended to represent the identity and special characteristics of Horley.

Information boards are available to view at Horley Library until 12 June and also on our website: https://www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/info/20326/horley/1151/delivering_change_in_horley_town_centre/2

Please provide your feedback using the online survey - www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/FUIJMY. Paper copies can also be found at the Horley Library (55-57 Russell Square) or at Horley Community Centre (Albert Road).'
