Horley High Street and Subway Consultation

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council l is considering improvements to Horley High Street and subway so that they better serve local people and to help boost the local economy. They would like to hear what residents, shoppers and businesses think before it goes further.

They have developed some initial ideas (or principles) that they would like your feedback on, as well as understanding how you use the town centre.

Their ideas

You can also see a display of the proposals at Horley Library (55-57 Russell Square, Victoria Rd, Horley RH6 7QH)

Have your say

Alternatively, you can pick up a a paper copy of the survey from Horley Library, or request one to be sent to you by email or posted to you by contacting 01737 276719.

You can also email any additional comments or suggestions to: regeneration@reigate-banstead.gov.uk.

Other engagement

This engagement builds on the recent conversations with residents and local stakeholders to build a community-led vision for Horley, carried out by “thinkingplace” on behalf of the local authorities in the area, between December 2021 and February 2022.

What happens next?

The results of this survey will inform the next stage of design. The Council will work with the design team to develop the proposals over the coming months. We aim to consult again with more developed proposals in summer 2022.
