Presentation of Award to Chairman
At the Horley in Bloom Awards evening in October, HTC Chairman Town Mayor, Samantha Marshall was presented with a Special Award for being only the third woman in the Town Council’s 127-year history to be Council Chairman. She was elected Council Chairman & Town Mayor for the Municipal Year 2021/22.
In presenting her award, Cllr Simon Marshall said “I am delighted to make this presentation on behalf of Horley Town Council. In the short time as Town Mayor, Samantha has also been a very effective Council Chairman. She takes a great interest in Horley and gives her time freely to benefit the community in a variety of ways”
We all wish Samantha well in her continued role of public office.
