NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 87(2) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 THAT:
a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Horley West Ward of the Town Council of Horley.
An election to fill the vacancy will be held on 6 May 2021 if notice in writing of a request for such an election is made by TEN local government electors for the Horley West town council ward and received by the Returning Officer, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH not later than 12 January 2021.
If a request for an election is not received by the above deadline the Town Council will co-opt a person to fill the vacancy as soon as practicable.
