Footpath Diversion Notice

Text reads: Notice of Public Path Order Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Sections 257 and Paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 Reigate & Banstead Borough Council Public Footpath 407 (Horley) Diversion Order 2020 The above Order was made on 30 September 2020. The effect of the Order will be to divert the public footpath running from Grid Ref. 527037 144507 in a northerly turning to north easterly direction for 216 metres to the path's junction with Meath Green Lane at Grid Ref. 527181), to a line running from Grid Ref. 527037 144507 in a generally northerly turning to east north easterly direction for 244 metres to the path's junction with Meath Green Lane at Grid Ref. 527181 144623, as shown on the Order Map. A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge by appointment {Tel. 0300 200 1003) at Surrey County Council Offices, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford (between 10.00am and 4.00pm from Monday to Friday, and at Horley Town Council Offices, 92 Albert Road, Horley, RH6 7HZ and Harley Library, 55-57 Russell Square, Victoria Road, Horley, RH6 7QH during opening hours. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Countryside Access Team (quoting reference DJ/AW/3/1/45) at Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 13 November 2020. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
