judged on 1 & 2 April 2008:
Residential
- 1st - June Ward, 57 Parkhurst Rd.
- 2nd equal: Sian Morley, Kilvington, Ringley Avenue/Frank Good, 66 Upfield.
Non Residential
- 1st - Fiona Stimpson, Rosemead Guest House.
- 2nd equal: Court Lodge Residents Association c/o Mrs Sue Walsh, 3 Manor Drive/Manorfield Primary & Nursery School
Mike George, Horley in Bloom chairman, said: “This has been the first year for Horley in Spring and reflects the ongoing development of Horley in Bloom in making it available to the widest number of residents and local groups. Many of the entrants had magnificent displays despite the uncertainties of the English spring weather.
Awards will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting in the Albert Rooms on Friday 25 April from 1930 hrs.
