Estate of Cyril Edmonds
The Town Council has been left a substantial sum of money in the will of Cyril Edmonds, a builder who lived at Norwood Hill.
The Town Council is exploring a number of options. The preferred option is to set up a fund which would generate sufficient interest on the capital to provide outings, theatre trips, holidays, etc. for the benefit of underprivileged and needy residents of Horley.
We would very much like to hear the views of Horley residents on this proposal and we would also welcome any other suggestions you may have. Please send your comments to the Town Council Offices by 28 September 2007. Messages can also be left on the web site.
The Town Council will be making a final decision at its Full Council meeting on 6 November.
