Horley in Bloom 2006
Following a meeting of the Horley in Bloom organising committee, it has been decided to continue with this year’s competition in the categories below However, because of the pending drought order recently declared by the Sutton & East Surrey Water plc, entrants will be invited to compete in the following categories and they must be able to demonstrate that their water usage has been from collected rain water or grey water, i.e. any water that has been used in the home except that used from toilets, i.e. dish, sink, shower, laundry water:
- Residential Front Garden
- Residential Rear Garden
- Cottage Garden
- Community
- Guest Houses competition
- Best Newcomer
- Allotments
In summary, there will be no hanging basket categories.
