Horley in Bloom 2005 Results

The Town Council are delighted to announce the results of the 11th Horley in Bloom Competition. The winners are as follows:

Residential Front Garden
Winner: Avis Ayling, 2nd Place Mabel Clackson, 3rd Place Tania Peppiatt

Residential Hanging Basket
Winner: Anita Morrell, 2nd Place: Tania Peppiatt, 3rd Place: Avis Ayling

Community Garden
Winner: Delta House, 2nd Place Langshott Infant School, 3rd Place Barnfield Residential Home

Cottage Garden
Winner: Frank Good, Runner Up: St Wilfrid’s Church

Commercial
Winner: The Kings Head, 2nd Place: Chequers Thistle, 3rd Place: The Air Balloon

Commercial Hanging Basket

Residential Back Garden

Thank you to our judges, Terry Boardman, Trevor Elliott, Sarah Wilson, Paul Dongohue & Sarah Branwhite who judged all categories except for the Residential Back Gardens category which was judged by the Horley Gardening Club

Horley Garden Club judges were: Linda Deuster, Jean Frampton and John Frosztega

The Allotments are due to be judged later in August.

The results for all these categories will be published in the next edition of Horley Highlights. Thanks to everyone who took part in this year’s competition which marks the 11th year of the competition.

Horley Town Council would like to especially thank The Renaissance London Gatwick Hotel which has kindly agreed to sponsor the Awards evening. This will take place later in October. Invites will be sent out nearer the time to those who have taken part in this year's competition.
