Horley Town Council will announce the three worthy recipients of the prestigious Town Award for 2004/05 later this month. They will all be presented with their awards at the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday 28 April 2005 at the Albert Rooms, Albert Road commencing at 7.30 pm.
Other matters to be discussed at the meeting will be to hear an update on the Smith’s Charity, to receive reports from the Town Council Chairman and Committee Chairman and to receive a presentation on Town Centre Revitalisation proposals. The presentation will be made by Robert Cottrill of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and Rob West of Roger Evans Associates Ltd followed by a question and answer session.
Any members of the public, who are resident in Horley, may submit a proposed resolution on any other matters (together with the names of proposer and seconder) for public discussion. Proposed resolutions should be submitted in writing to the Town Council by Tuesday 19 April 2005.
