Tree Planting at Emlyn Meadows 25 Feb

We are at the first stage of the Nature Trail Project at Emlyn Meadows.

On Friday 25 February the Gatwick Greenspace Partnership (formerly Horley Crawley Countryside Project) will be planting a number of native species of trees in an existing broken hedge line which will over the coming years form a small copse. This will also provide a habitat for wildlife.

At approx 1400 hrs we shall be joined by children from Manorfield and Salfords schools. The Horley Learning Partnership is actively involved in the design and implementation of this part of the project. Press and their photographers are cordially invited to view this important phase of the project.

Cllr Mike George added that this is an important step in the progress of this project which will give an exciting and educational facility for the area’s schoolchildren. Further information will be made available as the project moves forward.
