CBP Chairman Required
CBP [now known as the Horley Basic Skills Coalition] is seeking a chairman to lead the coalition for a period of 2-3 years.
The role will involve:
- Providing leadership and drive to achieve the objectives agreed by the coalition.
- Working with existing and new providers of services to minimise duplication.
- Ensuring that services are marketed by providers to potential users.
- Ensuring that providers provide the services required by local residents.
Previous experience in education, either as a teacher or school governor, or in local government would be ideal but the important quality would be enthusiasm for the aims and objectives of the coalition.
