Horley Roads

At the Town Council’s Planning & Development Committee meeting held on 18 November, following recent correspondence in the Horley Life, members discussed the state of the roads in the Horley area as identified in the Horley Resident’s Association questionnaire, and stated their serious concerns about the state of the road surfaces. The council has written to Surrey County Council to complain about:

  • white lining worn away
  • increasing incidence of potholes
  • Dirty signage
  • Health & Safety concerns

and citing Horley Row, Russells Crescent, Ringley Avenue, the Kings Head junction, and Vicarage Lane as particular problem areas.
