Wardrobe Wizards began in 2006 when a group of adult dressmaking students from a local education class felt let down by a huge rise in fees. Taking their tutor with them they joined forces and created a new and enthusiastic sewing group. Since then members of the group have efficiently kept us up and running. A couple of generous sponsorships provided us with some excellent equipment. From beginners to advanced, our members have a wide range of skills. Our willingness to share our knowledge has resulted in some unusual sidelines including quilting, millinery, bags and other accessories. Our relaxed group will always make space for one-off visitors who only want to come occasionally to sort out some baffling query. We take full advantage of our very experienced tutor, Penny Loveday, who provides us with a wealth of professional input.
