Description: |
The U3A exists to facilitate learning in later life. It's a charity and all members give their time and experience voluntarily.
The Horley and District U3A meets on the second Thursday of every month (except July and December) at 2pm in the Regent Hall (part of the Regent House Community Centre) in the centre of Horley. We have speakers and presentations on subjects as diverse as police dog training to harp recitals. There are excellent parking facilities at the Regent Hall and we're not far from bus stops, the station and other amenities.
We are very happy to welcome new members, so why not drop in on one of our monthly meetings and learn more? We operate a buddy system for anyone who wants company at their first meeting. Our present membership stands at about 120, with more than 20 interest groups on subjects, we're always keen to start up new ones if the interest is there.
