Description: | The association was formed back in the seventies for all the residents of the Court Lodge estate. This now comprimises just under 600 properties. Membership is free to all residents of the estate thanks to funding from Raven House Trust and other sources. The annual general meeting takes place in July at Horley Town Football Club. Well established is our annual gardens competitions, Court Lodge in Colour, which includes a very popular juniors section fo our younger residents, run with the assistance of Manorfield School. The assosciation works with all the public bodies in town, borough and county level, on behalf of its members. A close working relationship is also maintained with Surrey Police's Neighbourhood Specialist Officer and the Borough Council's and Raven House Trust's Community Wardens. As a recignised Residents Association, it is frequently consulted by the Town and Borough councils and, on behalf of its Raven Hosing Trust members, is heavily involved in joint trist /residents groups on a number of matters such as best valueand contractor partnering. Its membership of the Horley Community Investment Committee gives access funds for enviromental and other improvements throughout the estate. This has led to the planting of new trees and the refurbishment of flower and shrub beds. The association exists to represent the interests of its members and to monitor and improve services and the enviroment. For further information call 01293 411655 or email courtlodgera@aol.com
