The electoral register lists the names and addresses of everyone who is registered to vote in public elections. The register is used for electoral purposes, such as making sure only eligible people can vote, political parties are also entitled to a copy of the register by law and may use it to plan their election campaigns. The register is used for other limited purposes specified in law such as detecting crime (e.g. fraud), calling people for jury service and checking credit applications.
The electoral register of electors is available to view by appointment only and under supervision at the Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 0SH. No copying of this register is allowed and the information it contains cannot be used for marketing purposes. If you would like to check your entry in the register, please contact the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall on 01737 276 794 or email elreg@reigate-banstead.gov.uk to arrange an appointment.
